1C: Enterprise allows you to upload any directory without resorting to writing complex loading/unloading processing, using only built-in tools. First, we need to decide in what format we want to receive the data:
*.mxl – internal 1C tabular data format, suitable for loading into another 1C database;
*.xls – Excel spreadsheets;
*.pdf – electronic document Adobe Reader;
*.html – web page for publication on the Internet;
*.txt – a simple text file, useful for loading into any database.
If the directory is hierarchical, then the list will be uploaded to *.mxl and *.xls formats, preserving the hierarchy and with the ability to collapse/expand groups. In all other formats, the upload will take place in a simple list, listing the elements of the group after its name.

Let's open the directory that we need to download. In our case, this is “Nomenclature”. Operations -> Directories -> Nomenclature. You can download not the entire directory, but only a specific group; to do this, you need to go to this group. Uploading data from 1C to XML

Go to the information base from which the data will be downloaded (source). Be sure to check them, taking into account all possible conditions to avoid undesirable consequences.

Open XML data upload and download processing (Ctrl+O).

We are interested in the “Upload” tab. First of all, specify the name of the file into which the data will be uploaded and the path for saving. In this case, the data is uploaded “to a file on the server”.

In the processing header you can configure the period for which the selection will be carried out. Also, for periodic registers, you can specify the method of applying selection by period. If it is necessary to upload movements along with documents, the corresponding flag is set. In this case, we overload the directory, so there is no need to configure anything in the header.

Let's move on to selecting data for uploading. In the tabular part of the processing form, select the checkboxes for the configuration objects that you need to transfer.

The “Unload if necessary” column means whether it is necessary to overload this object if it is referenced by the attribute of the directory we are overloading. For example, the position of the item you are loading has a unit of measurement that is not in the target database. If the flag in the “Upload if necessary” column is checked opposite the reference book with units of measurement, a new position will be created. Otherwise, the value of the attribute will be “<Объект не найден>" and its unique identifier.

In a simple case without selections, setting up item overload will look like this.

In this example, you need to select only the items that are located in the “Woodworking” folder.

Similar processing for 8.2 allows you to set selections for each configuration object in a convenient form. In 8.3, unfortunately, there is no such functionality. One way out in this situation would be to select the necessary items on the “Additional objects for unloading” tab.

You can add objects here either manually (the “Add” button) or by request (“Add by request...”). If there are a large number of them, the second option is preferable.

In this case, the request will be as follows. Fill in the parameters, complete the request after checking the data, and click on the “Select result” button.

After you have specified all the necessary objects and additional elements for uploading, click on the “Upload data” button. They will end up in an XML file, the name and path of which you specified earlier. The results of this operation will be displayed in messages.

In this example, it was necessary to unload only 3 positions, but five were unloaded. This is because a flag was set opposite the “Nomenclature” directory in the “Upload if necessary” column. Along with the necessary positions, their parents were overloaded.

Loading a directory from XML

After successfully downloading data from the source configuration into an XML file, open the destination database. The structure of objects and their details must match each other. In this case, the transfer is carried out between two standard configurations 1C: Accounting 3.0.

Open processing in the receiver database. This processing is used for both uploading and loading data. Go to the “Download” tab and specify the path to the XML file into which the data was previously downloaded. After that, click on the “Download data” button.

The download result will be displayed in messages. In our case, everything went well.

The “Nomenclature” directory in the receiving database was not filled out. Now it has five elements: three nomenclature positions and two groups.

Processing for loading can be found on the ITS disk. Launch the disk, go to the Technological Support section, select item 1C: Enterprise 8. Next Universal reports and processing -> Loading data from a spreadsheet document -> Description and installation of external processing “Loading data from a spreadsheet document”. Click the “Copy” link and save the processing to the selected folder.

We open the resulting processing in our database. In the “Download mode” field, the default value is “Download to directory”. In the “Directory Type” field, set “Nomenclature”. Then click the “Open file...” button. In the window that opens, find the spreadsheet document and select it. Information from the file will be displayed in the processing tabular section.

Go to the “Settings” tab. In the “First line of data in a spreadsheet document” field, put 1 if our document does not have a header, or 2 if there is a header and the data starts from the second line. Next, in the “Column numbering” item, select “Manual column numbering”.

Uncheck all the boxes using the button to the left of Column Numbering. We check the boxes in the lines “Name”, “Full name” and “Article”, leave the loading mode “Search”, set the column numbers according to the column numbers in the spreadsheet document. In our case these are 1, 2 and 3.

If we load elements into a folder, check the box in the “Parent” line, select the download mode “Install” and in the “Default Value” column select the directory group we need.

And finally, we will select the units of measurement and the VAT rate, otherwise we will have to set them manually for each element of the directory. Let's check the boxes in the lines “Base unit of measurement” and “VAT rate”, the loading mode is “Install”, in the “Default value” field - “pcs” and “18%”, respectively.

After completing the settings, go back to the “Spreadsheet Document” tab and click the “Filling Control” button. If no errors are found, click “Download”. Loading is complete.

In 1C 8.3 it is possible to bulk load a list from a spreadsheet document, for example, from an Excel file.

I did not write down all the fields in the directory, since this is enough to understand the principle of loading. In addition, this data is enough to start working with these positions.

As you can see, we have some errors! We will eliminate it. Go to the “Settings” tab:

Before correcting errors, I want to draw your attention to one important detail. The program initially does not know in which field to look for a directory element in case it is already there. So she needs to point it out. I prefer to search by code since it is usually unique. In the “Search field” column in the “Code” line, put a checkmark. Now, if a record with such a code is found, it will be replaced, otherwise it will be created.

Important! If you do not specify a search field, duplicate items may appear. Especially after the second download of a similar file!

Now let’s see why “Unity” is swearing on the field. The fact is that units of measurement in 1C 8.3 are stored in a separate directory, and processing by default looks for this unit by name. But in fact, the word unit is written in the “Full name” field.

Unfortunately, processing can only search by “Name” and “Code” (for the programmer the possibilities are wider). If you pay attention to the pictures above, you will see that I have a code in the “Unit” column. And in processing you need to indicate that the search should be carried out by code. Double-click on the “Communication Condition” column opposite “Units” and change it to “Code”.

Now let’s see what they tell us about “Service” in the list of errors. One more important note. The columns in the file must be located strictly in the same order as the lines of the directory fields. And for us “” is located at the very bottom, and in the file after the “Comment” column.

In order to move the “Item type” line up, there are blue arrows at the top of the form. Using the “Up” arrow, raise the desired line and place it under “Comment”.

Click “Load data”, and this time everything goes without errors:
