Lenovo Vibe X2 smartphone: description, characteristics, reviews. Lenovo Vibe X2 mobile phone: description, specifications and reviews Network bandwidth

After the successful (in my opinion) Lenovo K900, the company began to expand its lineup of smartphones. Vibe X is just one of them. If we talk about the smartphone itself, then, with the exception of the processor, it can be safely called a device at the level of last year’s flagships.

Equipment

  • Smartphone
  • PC cable (also part of the charger)
  • power unit
  • Wired earplug headset

The smartphone comes in a beautiful black box with soft-touch coating. Among the features of the package, one can highlight only a convenient earplug headset.

Appearance, control elements, case materials, assembly

The design of the Vibe X cannot be called unique; in fact, we have before us an ordinary smartphone with rounded edges and a silver plastic bezel, stylized as metal. The only feature of this model is the back cover, made of textured plastic with a small pattern.

Most of the front side is occupied by a five-inch display. Above it are the front camera eye, the earpiece mesh, as well as light and proximity sensors. Below it is a panel with touch buttons “Menu”, “Home” and “Back”. Holding the Menu button brings up a list of recent apps, and holding the center button opens Google Now.

At the top end there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

On the right you can see the volume rocker, and just below there is a tray for a SIM card in microSIM format. The power button is located on the left; when holding the smartphone, the finger immediately rests on it.

The bottom end is occupied by a microUSB connector and a microphone hole.

There is not a single complaint about the assembly of the smartphone; the device is perfectly assembled, nothing creaks, does not play, or wobbles.

Dimensions

This is one of the thinnest and lightest five-inch smartphones. The Vibe X is only 6.9 mm thick and weighs 120 grams.

  • - 144x71x6.9 mm, weight – 120 grams
  • Samsung Galaxy S5- 142x72.5x8.1 mm, weight – 145 grams
  • HTC One M8- 146.36x70.6x9.35 mm, weight - 160 grams
  • Meizu MX3- 139x72x9.1 mm, weight – 143 grams

Thanks to the rounded edges, the smartphone is comfortable to hold in your hand and feels more compact than other five-inch devices. I’ll immediately note a significant disadvantage of the model - due to the smooth plastic, the device can slip out of your hands.

Display

The screen diagonal is five inches, resolution is 1920x1080 pixels, matrix type is IPS, a display without an air gap (one-glass-solution) is used, there is an oleophobic coating.

The smartphone screen is definitely the Vibe X's strongest point. It has an excellent level of maximum brightness, maximum viewing angles, and the picture from this display looks bright and clear (even the smallest fonts). A separate advantage is the presence of an oleophobic coating, which makes using the touch screen much more convenient than that of B-brands.

The model has automatic brightness adjustment. In my sample, when it was turned on, the brightness jumped from very high to very low. As a result, I disabled this feature.

operating system

The device runs Android 4.2.2 with a proprietary shell from Lenovo. In the new series, which Vibe X belongs to, the shell has been greatly redesigned, so let's talk about it in a little more detail.

Desktops. Lenovo decided to abandon a separate application menu and used the iOS option, when all programs are immediately placed on the desktop. The icons are presented in a 4x5 grid plus a bottom bar. The size of the icons is large, you definitely won’t miss when trying to open this or that program.

Lock screen. From the lockscreen you can quickly open the camera, phone book or messages. Various themes are supported.

Dialer. The dialer now has Russian letters and SmartDial support, making it convenient to use.

Status bar. There are switches for wireless interfaces on it; you can scroll through them using a horizontal swipe.

Conductor. Very convenient built-in file manager. In addition to accessing the file system, it is convenient to see how much space what types of data take up.

Themes. The user can customize the launcher using pre-installed (or downloadable) themes. Their detail is at the MIUI level; you can change everything from the lock screen to application icons and built-in widgets.

Lenovo has come up with a good shell, much like MIUI. The only thing I didn’t like was some flaws in the translation; it’s clear that the company didn’t put much effort into it.

Performance

The device is built on the MediaTek MT6589T chipset with a quad-core processor operating at a frequency of 1.5 GHz, a PowerVR SGX 544MP video accelerator, RAM capacity of 2 GB, internal storage capacity of 16 GB (12 GB available to the user).

The budget chipset is the most serious drawback of this smartphone, plus Lenovo has also screwed up something with its own shell, as a result the device works with stutters and stutters. Periodic delays when scrolling through desktops and in third-party programs (for example, lags in Swype) nullify all the advantages of the device. It's amazing how lack of optimization can ruin a smartphone. Separately, I would like to note that Artem Lutfullin also had a sample of this device in his hands, and for him it worked much faster.

Typically, there are no problems in games or when watching FullHD video. Even the top-end Asphalt 8 is running. But when working with the graphical interface, there are terrible slowdowns. I suspect that replacing the chipset with a Qualcomm 600/800 would benefit this smartphone.

Autonomous operation

The small thickness should have been reflected in the battery capacity: in the Vibe X it is only 2000 mAh. The smartphone does not work very long, it is 4 hours in HD video viewing mode and 7-8 hours when reading at 30% brightness.

With everyday use, you can count on one working day with total screen activity (Twitter, email, some video) of 2-2.5 hours.

Camera

The smartphone has a main 13 MP camera and a 1.2 MP front camera. The device can record video in a resolution of 1920x1088 (this is not a typo) pixels. The quality of the photographs themselves can only be called quite good. However, you can see examples of pictures for yourself below.

Interfaces

The device does not stand out in any way unusual in terms of interfaces: it supports 2G/3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0. Traditionally for MediaTek, a cold GPS start can take several minutes, and the module itself is unstable.

Conclusion

I had no complaints about the quality of speech transmission. Both you and your interlocutor can hear each other perfectly.

In popular retail chains, Lenovo Vibe X costs 15,000 rubles. Its main advantage over a bunch of smartphones from B-brands is its oleophobic coating and its own shell. And the most significant drawback (which, by the way, affects almost all Chinese flagships with FullHD resolution on the MT6589T) is slowdown in the interface; it is because of them that you will not be able to fully enjoy the high-quality display, thin body and light weight of the smartphone. By the way, if among you, dear readers, there are owners of the device, then please tell us how it behaves, does it slow down or not? So that we have an idea of whether this is an isolated case or a mass one.

Competitors

The first competitor that came to my mind is Meizu MX3. The company's popularity, of course, is much inferior to Lenovo, but the MX 3 does not have the main drawback of the Vibe X - this smartphone works very quickly, especially if we are talking about the same built-in launcher. The devices have parity in screens (both use very high-quality matrices), as well as in the absence of a memory card. But the dimensions of the Vibe X are significantly better (the model is thinner and lighter than the Meizu MX3).

And by paying only a thousand rubles extra, you can get LG Nexus 5. And this smartphone will be an order of magnitude better than the same Vibe X. This concerns the speed and power of the chipset. Also, among the advantages, I would like to note LTE support and timely updates from Google. And due to the fact that the Vibe X abandoned the memory card slot, it doesn’t have much to “cover.”

Summary: due to the speed of operation, I cannot recommend this smartphone for purchase. Lags and slowdowns negate all the advantages of the model. I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to see stutters on my device every day, even if these stutters are displayed on a wonderful screen in a thin and light case.

Today the subject of our attention will be the Lenovo S960 Vibe X. Let's take a closer look at its characteristics and try to figure out whether it's worth buying or not. This smartphone will certainly appeal to those who appreciate beautiful design, good photographs, videos and widescreen displays with cool Full HD resolution.

Vibe X is a mixture of attractive appearance, Full HD screen, 13 megapixel camera that allows you to make good videos on the one hand, and the MediaTek platform on the other.

Design

The Vibe X is completely streamlined, features curved glass, a shimmering matte body and a neat build. Undoubtedly, the smartphone looks very attractive and is a pleasure to hold in your hand. Although, out of habit, it seems that devices of this size should weigh significantly more.

Lightness is explained by the use of a plastic case. The material chosen for it was polycarbonate, skillfully stylized in the form of textured matte aluminum. Such a surface is not in danger of losing its “metallic” appearance, even if small scratches appear. And they won’t keep you waiting long because of the plastic. It’s not entirely clear why a glossy frame is used, which has become a fly in the ointment in terms of design.

Lenovo Vibe X is not only the lightest, but also one of the thinnest devices - its thickness is just under 7 mm. Thanks to the beveled side edges, the smartphone appears even thinner. At the same time, the phone has a 5-inch screen, and this is definitely the gadget’s strong point.

Display

Lenovo Vibe X is equipped with a 5-inch Full HD screen. Thanks to the resolution of 1920x1280 pixels, it was possible to achieve a high pixel density of 441t. per inch. This ensures an impeccably clear picture, devoid of the slightest sign of grain. The IPS matrix boasts all the available advantages: wide viewing angles, high image contrast and deep black color. The display brightness is good, so there will be no sun glare.

Hardware

Lenovo s960 runs on the MediaTek MT6589T platform, Cortex A7 processor with four cores on board and a frequency of 1.5 GHz. PowerVR SGX544 is responsible for graphics processing. The Lenovo Vibe X has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory.

This model does not have a gyroscope - another significant disadvantage that we were able to notice in our review, especially for gamers. Lenovo Vibe X only boasts light sensors, an accelerometer and a compass.

Camera overview

The Lenovo Vibe X has a built-in 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera. Manufacturers obviously relied on them. But if we could add a top-quality lens to the many wonderful settings, bells and whistles, filters and functions, it would be better.

The main camera has a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. There is an LED flash, autofocus and a BSI sensor that controls the backlight. This sensor combats low light conditions. It is worth remembering about the macro function. The camera is not without panoramas, HDR and other software delights.

The highest resolution of the front camera is 2560x1920 pixels. It pleasantly pleases with a large viewing angle – up to 84 degrees.

Only the “beaty” function is available in the settings. This is quite enough to take good selfies.

Both cameras can shoot video at 30 fps. Full HD (1920x1080 pixels) available. An alternative to 1080p is 720p, QCIF or VGA. In addition, there are settings for backlighting, white balance, automatic and manual focusing, you can record sound both in a regular format and with highlighting the speech frequency - “meeting”.

Conclusions:

When choosing a Lenovo s960, it is better to proceed from the specific daily tasks of the owner. The review showed that the exclusive combination of thickness (6.9 mm), weight of 121 g, paired with a 5-inch diagonal makes the device attractive. But a battery capacity of 2,000 mAh will clearly not be enough for good autonomy. Overall, the review showed that the Lenovo Vibe X is a pretty good device. The choice is yours.

Lenovo Vibe X stylish smartphone in a thin 6.9 mm case and powerful technical characteristics. Lenovo vibe x equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and a 2000 mAh battery that supports the smartphone for up to 12 days of standby time and up to 16 hours of talk time. The main characteristics of the Vibe X can also be highlighted: the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, a large 5-inch screen, two cameras 13 MP and 5 MP, built-in memory 16 GB and RAM 2 GB. Curved Full HD screen Lenovo vibe x With a high pixel density of 441 ppi and scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 technology, it delivers clear images from any viewing angle. The main 13 MP camera of the Lenovo Vibe X with a BSI sensor allows you to take photos and videos of excellent quality, and the smartphone also received a front 5 MP camera for video calls and selfies. You control Lenovo Vibe X with one hand with the gesture control function, this function can be configured in the phone settings.

We played all test files in the MXPlayer application.

Lenovo Vibe X successfully handled most of the proposed formats. There wasn’t enough power for 2K video, but this is not at all fatal, especially since you won’t notice the difference on a Full-HD smartphone screen.

The speaker volume is enough for movies - it is loud enough. But, unfortunately, there is only one.

Given the small amount of built-in memory, we believe that most users will watch movies online, and since online video is slowly moving to Full-HD, there should be no problems with video playback.

Lenovo Vibe X | Performance

If above we talked more about pleasant things, then not everything is so smooth here. Lenovo Vibe X is equipped with a quad-core MTK 6589T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. Its performance, of course, is far from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, but for everyday work and most games the MTK 6589T will be enough. Moreover, it spends much less energy, so this will have a positive effect on autonomy. The role of the graphics core is played by PowerVR SGX544.

We compared the performance of Lenovo Vibe X with smartphones that were tested in our laboratory:

AnTuTu

The results are not impressive. In the Ice Storm test, the Lenovo Vibe X scores just 3,131 points, while competing flagship models score around 10,000 points.

CPU performance

We tested the performance of the 4-core Cortex A9 MTK 6589T processor using Linpack. Results are in millions of floating point operations per second (MFLOPS).

Compared to budget smartphones that have previously been in our laboratory, Lenovo Vibe X is clearly ahead. But, again, if you compare the results with modern more expensive models, the results are not at all impressive: many flagships show results of 500 MFLOPS.

Overall system performance

We used Smartbench 2012 1.0 to evaluate overall system performance. This test is very similar to the 3DMark and SysMark suites in that it provides simple and easy-to-use performance indexes for two categories: productivity applications and games. On the other hand, a synthetic test may not accurately reflect the actual performance of applications and games.

You can compare the results of Lenovo Vibe X with other smartphones and tablets at http://smartphonebenchmarks.com/

Based on the test results, we can say that Lenovo Vibe X should be positioned more as a smartphone for work because of its good productivity, but with games everything is a little more complicated. Still, the high resolution of the Full-HD screen has an effect. But we will look at this further in the results of gaming tests.

JavaScript Performance

SunSpider is a JavaScript benchmark that demonstrates both the performance of the tablet's JavaScript engine and (to a lesser extent) the processing power of the hardware. A poor implementation of JavaScript on a very fast tablet can ruin the overall performance of the platform. And at the same time, an excellent implementation of JavaScript will allow you to effectively use even slow systems. However, today the main implementations of JavaScript engines are becoming closer to each other, and developers are borrowing all the best ideas. JavaScript tests are single threaded due to the nature of browsers. SunSpider correctly evaluates CPU-sensitive tasks found in real web applications.

Below are the results of SunSpider 1.0 on Android tablets and phones. Android devices use Google's V8 JavaScript engine.

Performance in the browser is good, heavy sites load quickly, so browsing the Internet will not be a weak point of the Lenovo Vibe X.

Network Bandwidth

We tested network performance using the IxChariot test, as well as an 802.11 b/g/n router with 1 Gbps ports. The smartphone was at a distance of about 1 meter from the access point. We tested the maximum available network mode (802.11g or 802.11n), at this time there were no other active transmissions, and no pronounced interference was detected in the network coverage area.

The network throughput was 55 Mbit/s - quite a decent result. It's safe to say that Wi-Fi speed will not be a bottleneck for the Lenovo Vibe X. Coupled with the Sunspider results, it is obvious that there will definitely not be any problems with “heavy” pages.

Lenovo Vibe X | Game tests

Test results do not always correspond to real performance, so we decided to conduct tests in real conditions.

Three applications were selected for this purpose:

  • Cut The Rope is a casual game with simple and beautiful animations
  • Epic Citadel – demo of the Unreal engine with built-in benchmark
  • NFS Most Wanted – a modern game with “powerful” graphics

These tests test performance under a variety of conditions and measure real-world performance.

In games, frames per second (fps) is an important factor. The higher it is, the smoother the game feels. Frame rates below 30 fps can lead to stuttering and other unpleasant consequences. Frame rates below 15 fps turn the game into a slideshow and you'll hardly be able to enjoy it. We took the average frame rate throughout the test run in the selected game.

Cut the rope

We decided to test the smartphone on ordinary casual games that many users play to have a good time. Since the user can play them for hours, a good frame rate per second (fps) is an important indicator, because not everyone can watch a jerky picture for many hours. We tested the Lenovo Vibe X on the game Cut the Rope HD.

The result of 55 frames per second is quite decent, this is more than enough for games. Therefore, Lenovo Vibe X has no problems with casual games.

Epic Citadel

We have added the Epic Citadel gaming test, which is a demonstration of the capabilities of the Unreal engine from Infinity Blade for Android OS. The test has different .apk and cache for different GPUs, so you need to take your versions for the test. The test was carried out in High Quality and Ultra High Quality modes. You can see the results below.

As you can see, in High Quality mode the smartphone produces a playable 32 fps, but in Ultra High Quality mode the result drops to 13 fps. The high resolution of the Full-HD screen is largely to blame here, which significantly reduced the result.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted

To test the performance of "heavy" and demanding games, we chose NFS: Most Wanted. To install this game, you have to download the cache for each device separately, it was not possible to find something common for devices even with the same GPU, and the cache itself “weighs” 2 GB, an archive of 600 MB is downloaded. Therefore, get ready for the fact that you won’t be able to play immediately after installation; you’ll have to pump out the cache.

The smartphone shows a result of 25 frames per second. It feels like you can play, and it’s even comfortable, but during complex actions, such as collisions, fps can sometimes decrease for a short time.

Conclusion on performance tests

Lenovo Vibe X is far behind flagship smartphones in terms of performance. But that doesn't mean everything is so bad. There are no problems with casual games; you can also play most heavy games without problems.

During the active use of Lenovo Vibe X, there were almost no stutters, so we can say that the smartphone is perfect for people who use it not as a game console, but as a camera or multimedia player. Actually, Lenovo Vibe X coped well with these tasks.

Lenovo Vibe X | Connection

We didn’t find any shortcomings here, the smartphone catches the network well, 3G works. The only pity is that LTE is not supported.

Lenovo Vibe X | Battery life

We tested the tablet for battery life in different usage scenarios. We tried to bring testing conditions as close as possible to real ones. The brightness was set at a level that we think is optimal for working in a well-lit room. In gaming mode, sound was output through the speaker and Wi-Fi was turned off. The reading also took place without Wi-Fi. In the Movies mode, we watched a movie online in 720p quality using headphones.

The fast charging function requires special attention. Due to the large input current, this technology allows you to charge your smartphone up to 80% of the battery in a short time. Further, in order not to damage the battery, the current gradually decreases, and charging proceeds more slowly.

As you can see, the autonomy of the Lenovo Vibe X is very good. A full charge will last for a whole day of active use, and this is a definite plus.

As you can see, the most likely competitor is the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X 6040D, which has similar characteristics for a lower price. Among the advantages of Lenovo Vibe X are its own shell, protective glass and stylish design. The advantage of Alcatel OneTouch Idol X 6040D is support for two SIM cards.

The rest of the competitors are noticeably ahead of the Lenovo Vibe X in terms of performance, but they also cost more.

In general, we recommend coming to the store and seeing the devices in person. So you will probably like something. Moreover, such aspects as the screen and the comfortable position of the smartphone in the hand are difficult to describe; they need to be assessed individually by each person.

Lenovo Vibe X | Conclusion

We can say that Lenovo Vibe X is a smartphone for connoisseurs of beauty. Indeed, the design of this model is unlikely to leave anyone indifferent. In addition, the thin body and light weight allow the smartphone to fit comfortably in the hand.

We also liked the smartphone screen. Viewing angles are wide, color rendition is high quality. Considering that Full-HD resolution is placed on a 5-inch display, it is almost impossible to distinguish the pixels on the screen. Protective glass Gorilla Glass 3 reduces the likelihood of scratches to almost zero, in addition, it is pleasant to the touch.

We liked the shell installed on the Lenovo Vibe X. It looks thoughtful, working with the shell is intuitive, popular programs are preinstalled, and a large number of gestures are supported. The software support for the camera is also excellent. By the way, the picture quality of the Lenovo Vibe X is very good.

But not everything is rosy in terms of performance. For such a considerable price, the smartphone is not equipped with a powerful solution from Qualcomm, but with a relatively “budget” processor from MTK. As a result, the performance of the Lenovo Vibe X is far from modern flagships. However, the performance of the MTK 6589T is quite enough for the phone to work without any lag; it can handle casual games and most of the “heavy” games.

But even here you can grasp your own logic, and we will try to explain it. Firstly, the processor is energy efficient, therefore, autonomy increases, as can be seen from our tests. And secondly, since the phone is intended for connoisseurs of beauty, why do we need powerful hardware? If they do not play heavy games, then the long life of the smartphone will be much more important.

One downside is the lack of a memory card slot. Now 16 GB is not the most impressive amount of memory. Apparently, the manufacturer decided not to sacrifice extra fractions of a millimeter in the thickness of the case. In any case, cloud services are gaining popularity every day, so the lack of a memory card slot will not be as critical as it might seem at first glance.

Overall, we liked the smartphone. As alternatives, we have given above several main competitors, choosing between which is a personal matter for everyone.

The price of Lenovo Vibe X at the time of publication was 14,990 rubles.

Advantages of Lenovo Vibe X:

  • Stylish appearance
  • Ultra-thin body
  • High quality display
  • Comfortable shell
  • Good camera

Disadvantages of Lenovo Vibe X:

  • Weak hardware
  • Small amount of internal memory without expandability

Probably, the first years of operation of Lenovo (this is a Chinese manufacturer, if anyone didn’t know until today) can be called a real run-in. In this case, the smartphone market became a testing ground for the company where new devices were constantly tested. How did this manifest itself? At first, the Chinese manufacturer supplied mobile phone stores with not particularly expensive devices. However, at certain points, the sequence of inexpensive models was, so to speak, diluted with top-end smartphones with a corresponding price. But such moves were completely justified.

Introduction

On the territory of the Russian Federation, the Lenovo company has already established itself quite well as a reliable supplier of mobile equipment, tablet computers and laptops. And every year the position of the Chinese manufacturer is only strengthening. There are probably practical reasons for this. However, our goal today is not to characterize the company, but to figure out what its brainchild is called Lenovo Vibe X2, the price of which is currently about 15 thousand rubles.

Story

I remember that the real shift for the company was the sale of the flagship under the name K900. This applies to sales in the Russian Federation. In this regard, a completely logical question may arise: “Why then?” The answer is very, very simple if you think about it for a minute. The thing is that at that time the corresponding model had truly top-end characteristics, which won over what experts thought was a considerable audience to the side of the Chinese manufacturer.

At the same time, the device had a not entirely unique, but attractive design, which many future buyers of the device appreciated. Let us remember that the main parameter that influenced this was the phone body, made of thin, high-quality metal. The price of the device also played an important role. Thus, the Chinese company managed to achieve significant success in terms of promotion in the market, getting into the ears of many new people.

After the K900, several more good devices from the manufacturer entered the smartphone market. But the real leader among them turned out to be a model called Vibe X. Actually, the dominance of this device over other products in the line marked the beginning of the modification of the old (or the development of a new) device. Probably, Vibe X can be called a clear example of the way in which the Chinese manufacturer is capable of working, and what it can offer from smartphones to potential buyers.

It was precisely in such an environment, with such preliminary positioning, that the development of Lenovo Vibe X2 was carried out, the price of which falls in the range from 13 to 15 thousand rubles at the moment. Generally speaking, this is nothing more than a mid-range smartphone. Its parameters (and this means the hardware - from the processor to the camera) are not fantastic, but quite impressive, especially considering the cost of the device. The device has a universal design. Why did the Chinese decide to do this? Probably, the versatility should have helped avoid a large number of negative reviews. After all, you never guess who will like what. And universality is universality in Africa too.

A few more words about the cost of Lenovo Vibe In the article, you may notice mentions that the price of a smartphone is not that high. This refers to the current position of the device in the smartphone market. At the very beginning of sales, the cost of the device did not correspond to its buyers. However, now we can say that everything has settled down, and the device is put up for sale at an adequate price. In general, the basis for the positioning of the Lenovo Vibe X2 LTE is precisely the “price/quality” ratio.

Brief technical specifications. Software

First of all, let's note the operating system. On board the Lenovo Vibe X2 Gold we have the Android OS installed. More specifically, this is version 4.4 of KitKat. But some companies do not stop at using ordinary operating systems. This was also the case with HTC. The Chinese company decided to keep up with the Thais and developed a custom shell called Vibe UI, which it implanted into the Lenovo Vibe X2 Gold phone.

cellular

The device operates in GSM networks and supports HSDPA+. But what was especially pleasing (but for such and such a price it is understandable) is the ability to transmit data in fourth-generation networks, which is ensured through the use of an LTE hardware module. Thus, the owner of the phone will be able to surf the Internet at increased speed, open web pages faster and download videos and other media files.

CPU

In this case, the chipset we have is a device from MediaTek, this is the MT6595m model. The processor operates with eight cores, the maximum clock speed can reach two gigahertz. Very, very good for such a device at the appropriate price. The graphics subsystem is PowerVR G600. The smartphone has two gigabytes of RAM built-in, which is more than enough for 90 percent of games and applications. It becomes possible to successfully use the phone in multifunctional mode and open several programs at the same time. At the same time, the operating system works smoothly and clearly, without any hint of failures.

Memory

To store user data (that is, text documents, music, photos, video clips and films, as well as games and applications), the phone has 32 gigabytes of non-volatile memory. However, one of the disadvantages, even with such a volume, is the lack of a slot into which a memory card could be installed. He is simply missing. Apparently, the Chinese manufacturer decided that for the average user, 32 gigabytes will be enough for a lifetime. It’s bad, yes, but what can you do? Well, in the meantime, we move on.

Wireless modules

The Lenovo Vibe X2 phone, which is reviewed in this article, works with Wi-Fi wireless modules (in b, g, n band networks), as well as Bluetooth (version 4.1). There is also a port for synchronization with a personal computer or laptop. The same socket is used to charge the device. We are, of course, talking about the MicroUSB standard port. You can (and should, if using FM radio) connect a wired stereo headset to your smartphone. It can also be used when playing multimedia data.

Display

The Lenovo Vibe X2 phone, a review of which quickly spread across the international network, is equipped with a 5-inch diagonal screen. The display matrix is made using IPS technology, which means that the strain on the eyes of the phone owner during its operation will be reduced to a minimum. The technology works very well when the backlight is least active. Well, or when reading e-books from the device screen at night. The picture is displayed on the display in Full HD resolution. Dot density is 441 pixels per inch. There is a function for automatically adjusting the backlight level through the use of an appropriate sensor.

Cameras

The smartphone, which we will discuss at the end of this article, has two cameras. The main one has a resolution of 13 megapixels, and thanks to this it produces stunning photographs of objects. Is there anything else worth saying about recording video with it? Unless the resolution will be 1080 pixels. The front camera is perfect for selfie lovers. This is a 5 megapixel device. The main camera is equipped with an automatic focus function on the subject, as well as an LED flash.

Satellites

Navigation in space is carried out using GPS technology, and the module allows you to flawlessly accurately receive data on your location on a satellite map. Thus, the Lenovo Vibe X2 smartphone, reviews of which give the device a positive assessment, can also be used as a navigator when traveling by car.

Sensors

In addition, I would like to note the presence of an accelerometer, which is useful in some games. There is the necessary set of sensors. It includes a proximity sensor, which turns the screen backlight on and off during a telephone conversation, as well as adjusting the display illumination level depending on external light manifestations.

Autonomous operation

As a battery, the device has a built-in lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 2,300 mAh. Not so much, but quite a lot. Although energy will be spent, as they say, from the heart. And there is no doubt about it. Especially taking into account the specific features of the operating system of the Android family. In conclusion, we note that the dimensions of the phone in three-dimensional space have the following parameters: height 140.2, width - 68.6, and thickness - 7.3 millimeters. At the same time, the weight of the device has been reduced to a record-breaking weight of only 120 grams.

Conclusion and reviews

Among the advantages of the device is the good quality of cellular communications, as well as other wireless modules. Wi-Fi receives the signal freely, effortlessly. The cellular network does not disappear. What else can you expect from a smartphone for 15 thousand rubles, which is equipped with LTE technology? Good speaker volume. There is stock. The interlocutor’s speech from the other end of the line comes in high quality, cleanly and clearly. In general, the expected plus. The same applies to the vibration alert. It will be difficult not to notice him.

Among the expected logical shortcomings, the first one we have is battery life. Yes, in principle, 2,300 mAh is not so little. But clearly not for those who buy a smartphone in the hope of using it (with such characteristics!) to the fullest, non-stop, all day. In this case, the only solution to the issue will be to purchase an additional external battery, say, 10,000 A. It will allow you to fully charge the phone at least twice. And this is in the absence of an electrical network. The second disadvantage is the lack of a slot for a memory card. Although let's hope that the built-in 32 gigabytes will still be enough for phone owners.
