Yandex browser clear exit history. Instructions for deleting history in the Yandex browser. How to get into history and leave no traces there

Good day!

If you think that you are being watched, this does not mean that you are paranoid...

I probably won’t tell many people a secret, but when working on a PC, quite a lot of people are watching us, for example, the Windows OS itself, browsers (which also record the history of pages visited), providers, search engines, etc.

And if the information from all these trackers is hidden from most people and is difficult to obtain, then finding out the history in the browser is a matter of half a minute!

This is probably why many users are often interested in how to delete the history of visiting sites from the browser forever, so that no one finds it. In this article I will try to show how this can be done.

Automatic

In order not to go into every browser and clear the history, it is much more convenient to use a special one. utilities - cleaners. For these purposes, I recommend CCleaner, System Care, Wise Care (the first, in my opinion, is the most preferable - it is in it that I will show the entire work process).

Addition!

By the way, I have an article on my blog about the best programs for cleaning Windows from junk - I think it would be very helpful to provide a link to it now:

In addition, these specialized cleaning utilities have functions such as overwriting deleted files - i.e. The utility makes it so that other programs cannot recover deleted files. Those. As a result, we clear history completely and forever - so that it will subsequently be impossible to restore!

CCleaner

Official website of the program:

CCleaner is one of the best utilities for quickly and effectively cleaning Windows from junk. The utility is very careful in its work - it deletes only junk files that will not harm the operation of your system. In addition to its immediate task, the utility can defragment registry files (to improve performance), remove uninstallable programs, control startup, and other functions.

Let's consider clearing browser history...

After launching the utility, click the “Analyze” button - within a minute or two it will allow you to assess the degree of “contamination” of Windows with various garbage information (temporary files, broken shortcuts, tails in the registry, browser cache, etc.).

In my case, CCleaner found about 21,408 MB of garbage - which, you see, is not a little!

Please note that the menu on the left shows which browsers will be cleaned. If you do not want to clear history in a certain browser, uncheck the boxes next to it.

To start cleaning, click the button of the same name below (see screenshot below).

Cleaning up 21,408 MB of garbage

So that history cannot be restored...

If you want your history not to be restored using special. programs (for example, like this: ), you need to do one more operation - erase the free space with zeros.

The point here is...

Have you noticed that copying information to disk takes a long time, and deleting it takes 1-2 seconds? and there is no file. Why is that?

The fact is that when you delete a file, Windows simply begins to assume that it has nothing on the disk at this address, and new information can be written there at any time. BUT! The file itself, up to a certain point, does not disappear anywhere from the disk, and as long as this space on the disk is not overwritten, it can be restored.

The operation of erasing free space will just go through such areas on the disk and fill them with “zeros” so that there is nothing left to restore...

Thus, to completely delete history, after the program reports to you that the cleaning operation has been successfully completed, go to the section "Service/Erasing disks" and select the following options:

  1. only free space (we have already deleted the history from the occupied space);
  2. simple rewriting (the simplest option is both fast and quite reliable);
  3. local drive "C:\" (specify the drive where you have the browser installed).

The erase operation can take quite a long time - a 1 TB disk may take 1-2 hours. But, usually, the system disk with Windows is made smaller, and therefore the operation is much faster. In any case, if you are worried about the story, an extra 10-20 minutes does not make a big difference...

ADDITION!

There is one more important point. Some browsers have one very interesting feature enabled by default: history synchronization (for example, it is in Chrome). And if you are registered and authorized in the browser, then the whole history is not only accumulated on your hard drive, but also on Google servers (data is sent to the cloud from time to time).

Thus, by deleting all the history on the disk and then opening the browser, you can see that the history has not disappeared anywhere, the entire visit log will be filled in as before. Therefore, before cleaning, I recommend disabling history synchronization in the browser.

In Chrome this is done quite simply, you need:

  • or open "Settings/Synchronization" and turn off synchronization;
  • or open the page chrome://settings/syncSetup , and similarly move the slider to off.

Disable History Sync in Chrome (Settings/Sync)

With this option disabled, the history will not be restored after it is deleted from the disk. You can sleep peacefully...

Important!

Although we have deleted the history completely, there are still some ways that help partially find out what web resources you visited. I talked about how this can be done in one of my articles; I provide a link to it below (I recommend reading it).

How to view your browsing history, even if it is deleted -

Manual

With this method, do not forget that there will be information on the disk that can be restored using special tools. programs (because without third-party utilities it is impossible to “fill” the free space on the HDD with zeros).

Perhaps the only advantage of this method: you don’t need to download and install additional programs...

Chrome

In the Chrome browser, there are three ways to access your browsing history:

To clear your history, simply click the link of the same name in the menu on the left. See screenshot below.

To open the quick history clearing window in Chrome, there is a special keyboard shortcut - Ctrl+Shift+Del. The window that opens after this click is shown below.

If you do not want Chrome to remember your history, turn on incognito mode (key combination Ctrl+Shift+N) - or select this option in the settings. The browser will open a new window - which will be protected from tracking...

Also, do not forget that to completely remove all traces, you need to wipe the free space with the help of a special one. utilities I talked about this in the first part of the article!

Opera

  1. To quickly clear history - click Ctrl+Shift+Del. The combination is the same as in Chrome.
  2. To open the story: press the Ctrl+H key combination, or open the menu "O --> history" (note: "O" is the red circle in the upper left corner). See screenshot below.

Like any other web browser, it constantly records the history of web pages viewed. In most cases this is very convenient. Because history allows you to quickly find web pages that have been visited previously.

But, if several users work on the same computer, then the history of web pages viewed can cause a leak of personal information. Fortunately, browser developers have foreseen this and created the necessary tools.

In this article you can learn how to clear history in Google Chrome completely and partially. The article will also discuss several popular browser extensions that greatly simplify this procedure.

Complete history clearing in Google Chrome

As you browse the web, Firefox helpfully remembers lots of information for you – sites you"ve visited, files you"ve downloaded and more. All of this information is called your history. However, if you are using a public computer or share a computer with someone, you may not want others to see these kinds of things.

This article explains what information is stored in your Firefox history and gives you step-by-step ways to clear all or part of it.

  • To temporarily stop Firefox from storing history, see Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history .

How do I clear my history?

How do I make Firefox clear my history automatically?

If you need to clear your history every time you use Firefox, you can set it to happen automatically on exit so you don’t forget.

Note: Under certain circumstances, this function will not run:

  • Firefox did not shut down normally. If Firefox crashes, you will need to start Firefox and exit/quit normally to ensure that this function runs.
  • Firefox is set to use automatic private browsing. History retained from regular sessions can only be cleared from a regular window. To change between regular mode and automatic private browsing, see:

Browsers appeared with the emergence of the Internet, and their main purpose is to provide any user with information through a visual interface. Using an Internet browser, you can browse web pages, listen to music, watch movies, and chat with friends. Yandex.Browser is an advanced development by Russian programmers, designed for “travelling” through network resources. For it to work correctly, you must periodically clear the cache.

What is cache and why clear it

The browser cache is a special folder in which copies of data about the sites visited by the user and all actions performed by him at that time are saved. When viewing web pages again, there will no longer be a request for information; they will simply be retrieved from the cache and shown in the browser window. When using a cache, the network load is reduced and the loading time of the necessary pages is reduced.

Where is it stored?

Sometimes it becomes necessary to view or copy the Yandex Browser cache data, for example, when various technical support requests are sent to you or in case of searching for lost information about visiting a site, etc. The cache is located in a special folder on your computer or mobile device.

Folder addresses

operating systemCache address
Windows 7 and Windows 8C:\Users\Your account\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\User Data\Default\Cache\
Windows XPC:\Documents and Settings\Your Account\Local Settings\Application Data\Yandex\YandexBrowser\User Data\Default\Cache\
Windows VistaC:\Users\Your account\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\User Data\Default\Cache\
Mac OS~\Library\Application Support\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Default\GPUCache\
iOS~\Library\Caches\Since the data that is cached is generated by the browser, it is stored in NSCachesDirectory, for which a separate folder can be created, for example, MyAppCache. In this case, one of the methods for storing temporary data can be used: NSKeyedArchiver, NSURLCache, SQLite, Core Data.
Android~\Android\data\The folder is intended for storing user data. The information may also be archived in the Android\obb folder. The device cache is located in the wipe\cache directory, and the system application cache is in wipe\dalvik-cache.
Windows Phone~\Applications\Data\The easiest way to access the cache is through the Others folder. It stores cached browser history files.
