There is another option to clean the system of temporary files that are a source of permanent disruptions in the work of 1C. This is an optional startup option / ClearCache, which frees up space, but at the same time makes the system less productive.
When resorting to this method, it is necessary to take into account the fact that as a result the client-server query cache is cleared. Accordingly, modules, form metadata and other data for thick and thin clients are deleted. This method will not work if the problem arises from the local metadata cache, since it will not affect this type of cache.
Physically, it is located on the same chip as the central processor. Its use gives a definite performance gain. However, there are situations where cached information may be the source of errors. How to clear the 1C cache to normalize the program?
Timely cache cleaning speeds up the program.
The word cache comes from the English cache and translates as "to hide." This term is understood as the amount of some information (data, commands, etc.), which for convenience and speed of the application (program) is close, in the so-called buffer (in fast memory). It is a set of records.
The time for accessing such a fast memory is significantly less than accessing the source data storage (slow memory). Clients accessing the cache can be a central processor, browser, operating system, etc. When accessing such a client to data, the system first examines the cache. And when finding such data that was previously postponed (caching), the client receives records from the buffer.
Imagine that after the release is updated, the data (for example, the configuration) has changed. But when accessing them, the cached information from the buffer was reproduced, which has already lost its relevance. The consequence of this in relation to the work of the 1C: Enterprise program may be incorrect display of the document, table, settings of windows, dialogs and so on.
It is in this situation that the 1C cache is cleared.
